About This Home
The house is organized around a single idea, which is that in Central Florida the outdoors should not be something you look at through a window. A floor-to-ceiling glass wall opens the main living area to the back of the property, and the line between the room and the deck stops mattering.
The pool carries a vanishing edge, which means the water sits level with the far coping and spills into a catch basin hidden below. That detail reads as effortless and is anything but, because it depends on the pool shell, the deck elevation, and the sightline from inside the house all being set correctly before a single pour happens.
Inside, the plan runs to an open kitchen under a sculptural hood, a dining area placed for the same view, an open staircase, and a study off the entry.
