A Small Firm by Design
Building a custom home should be exciting, not exhausting. Since 1991, Carlos Posada has made that the mission of Posada Custom Homes. Three and a half decades later, we are still a small firm by design, still building across Central Florida, and still as committed to that idea as the day Carlos started.
We take on only four to six projects a year. Most are custom homes built from the ground up. Some are remodels and additions on homes our clients have lived in for years. A few are restorations of historic properties that need to be brought into this century without losing what makes them worth saving.
Our promise is simple: honest communication, careful work, and no surprises. Our homes are designed to last and are finished with care with a building process that feels collaborative and not chaotic.

Meet Carlos Posada
Carlos Posada graduated from the University of Florida in 1985 and spent his early career working alongside some of the best architects and developers in Central Florida.
Being in the room with people who did the work at that level shaped how he thought about homes, and it made one thing clear: he did not want to influence the designs conceptually, he wanted to build them.
He founded Posada Custom Homes in 1991.
Those years still show up in how he works. Carlos brings a designer’s eye to a builder’s job, and that background shapes how he reads a set of plans and thinks through the hundreds of decisions that go into a custom home.
It also allows for another set of eyes on every project, not to second-guess the architect or designer, but to catch the small things that surface when plans meet the realities of building in Florida.
He reviews and redlines every set of plans, knows what’s happening on each site’s progress, and is instrumental in the decisions that shape every home.
Carlos lives and works in Winter Park, and enjoys the town’s natural beauty, its amenities, and lively community events.
