A Small Firm by Design
Building a custom home should be exciting, not exhausting. Since 1991, Carlos Posada has made that the mission of Posada Custom Homes. Three and a half decades later, we are still a small firm by design, still building across Central Florida, and still as committed to that idea as the day Carlos started.
We take on only five to six projects a year. Most are custom homes built from the ground up. Some are remodels and additions on homes our clients have lived in for years. A few are restorations of historic Winter Park properties that need to be brought into this century without losing what makes them worth saving.
Our promise is simple. Honest communication. Careful work. No surprises. Homes designed to last and finished with care, and a process that feels collaborative, not chaotic.

Meet Carlos Posada
Carlos Posada graduated from the University of Florida in 1985 and spent a few years working with architects and developers across Central Florida. He realized he did not just want to influence the designs. He wanted to build them.
He founded Posada Custom Homes in 1991 and has been hands-on with every project since.
Carlos brings a designer’s eye to his work. His background in architecture and design shapes how he reads a set of plans, walks a site, and thinks through the thousand decisions that go into a custom home.
That perspective makes him a third set of eyes on every project. Not to second-guess the architect or designer, but to catch the small things that come up when plans meet the realities of building in Florida.
Carlos has called Winter Park home throughout his career and stays active in the local community. He walks every project, joins every client meeting, and signs off on every major decision.
